The Camp 412 fundraiser is today.
Chili, cinnamon rolls, relishes, and dessert will be served from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the Goessel High School Cafeteria. This is our one and only fundraiser for the year, and donations will be gratefully accepted to help offset camp expenses and for camp scholarships. We hope you will join us! 

Any current 7th or 8th graders in the area.
interested in a fun weekend out in nature with good food and fun, we will be traveling to Camp Tawakoni on May 24 through the 27th for Camp 412.  This has been a long-time tradition, and we are excited to keep this going! We hope you can make it and more details will be sent out as we get closer to the date.

The Fourth Monday Family History & Genealogy Group
will meet on Monday, February 26, 2024, 7:00 p.m., in the Goessel Museum Preparatory School building.  PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN MEETING PLACE. The presentation by Nancy Stucky, Goessel, is entitled “Alexanderwohl Church’s Membership Records Project.”   Come to see the amazing work Nancy has done digitizing the Alexanderwohl Church records brought from Russia, as well as keeping church records updated.  The meeting is free and open to the public.

Mennonite Heritage & Agricultural Museum
We continue the 150th As part of the 150th Anniversary celebration  of the migration of Mennonites to Kansas today.  Dr. Mark Jantzen, professor of history at Bethel college, will present “Fifty-Three Years in the Russian Empire: The Context for Mennonites in the Years 1821 to1874.”  The event will be held February 18, 2024, at 3 pm, at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, Goessel, Ks.

The Fourth Monday Family History & Genealogy Group will meet on Monday, January 22, 2024, 7 p.m., in the Goessel City Building Community Room. The presentation by Arlin Buller is entitled “Roots and Fruits.” The meeting is free and open to the public.

Blood Drive:  Make a difference by donating blood, either a single unit or a Power Red donation, on February 5 between 1:00-6:00 pm at Goessel Church. The Next Area-wide Jr. High Event will be Sunday, Feb. 4 from 5-8 p.m.

Plan to meet at the Goessel Church at 5 p.m. We will enjoy a progressive supper – each course will be at a different location! We will end the evening with some table games. Jr. high students can be picked up at 8 p.m. at Tabor Mennonite Church. Please note the two different locations for drop-off and pick-up.

Mennonite Heritage & Agricultural Museum Annual Business Meeting will be held on January 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Goessel Church. Rod Ratzlaff will present: “Origins of Alexanderwohl, Hoffnungsau, & Lone Tree: the Legacy of the Old Flemish Mennonites of Przechowko”.

Women’s Prayer Meeting On the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. there is a gathering of women to pray here. 

Women’s Bible Study On the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, women gather here at 9:00 a.m. for Bible study. Leda Graybill is leading the study.

Women’s Coffee On the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, a women’s coffee group meets at 9:00 a.m. at the City Building.

Men’s Bible Study Each Monday at 7:00 p.m. there is a men’s Bible study in the Tabor Church Fellowship Hall.

Moms’ Bible Study Each Monday from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Childcare is provided.

Kindergarten – 5th Grade Each Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.                                               

6th – 12th Grade Each Wednesday excluding 2/7 & 3/6 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
