Worship Ministry

Jesus was asked what “the greatest commandment” was or to say it another way… what is the greatest thing we are to do.  His reply was …

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments rest all the Law and the Prophets.” [1]

The most important gift we have and can bring to God the Father is our worship of the Lord God {Romans 12:1-2}[2].  The Goessel Church places a high value on our gathering to WORSHIP.  The Bible instructs us to do so {Hebrews 10:22-25} [3] by encouraging us not to skip out gathering to worship, but rather to use these as opportunities to hold fast to our Lord and encourage one another.

Worship is the one act/experience that has empowered the Goessel Church through the most difficult and darkest times in our history and is now for us a tremendous celebration of and to our Lord.  Because of the importance of our worship, we continue to development of the worship ministry that our worship does not become stagnant, but instead remains dynamic.

For these reasons we invite you to worship with us in person or online through Facebook.  Just go to and like “Goessel Church Live Worship”.

[2] 12 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

[3] 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
